Oblique FX, a visual effects company from Montreal asked us to rethink their logo and stationery. We thought of a concept where the logo, a shape that would otherwise look trivial, would reveal itself when viewed from a different perspective. In some way, this reflects the unorthodoxe way in which Oblique FX deals with each new project!
Several elements were created for Oblique FXs design print; from their stationary to DVDs, nothing was left untouched. The design of the business card itself reflects the main concept of the branding unfolding itself to reveal the company's logo.
For Oblique FX, we chose to created and personalised the interactive web experience. In order to do so, we developed a website where the onlooker is able to select which ever video he wants in order to create his very own demo reel. He is then able to immediately have a look at the finished product. The only thing missing is the popcorn!
