2017
The Curious Critters Club is a club of adventurers for youth from all over the world. Our planet is filled with legends about creatures that have yet to be identified by specialist. The Club's objective? Help science identify these creatures. Bigfoot and thr Loch Ness Monster may be well known, but there are so many more left to find. Through its applications and its website, the Curious Critters Club looks to ignite the curiosity of kids and guide them on this quest that covers topics such as the environment, teamwork, personal growth, and accepting differences in others and ourselves.

Crazy Creatures
The site is also the kingdom of mysterious 3D creatures open to the exploration and discovery of users. Children can choose their character and travel across continents, on foot or by boat, and discover the stories and secrets of 25 species.
The Adventurers
To complete the adventure, the youth have to choose their character amongst two options: Alex the courageous or Emma the intrepid.
Awe-Inspiring Creatures
Throughout the 3D experience, the youth discover different description cards about each of these 25 creatures. These cards contain captivating information such as the characteristics of the creatures, where they come from, and a fun fact about each of them!
Interactive
Books
The two interactive books of the Curious Critters Club Series immerse the children in the story of Te Hokio and the Cadbosaurus. These enriched books address a public between the ages of 6 and 8, and are filled with animations, sound effects, pre-recorded storylines, and a multitude of interactions.
The Mystery of the Caddy
Caddy is a cryptic creature that has been hiding in the waters of Cadboro Bay for years. Even though it has the body of a sea serpent and the head of a horse, it somehow manages to stay out of sight, undisturbed by the locals. But when danger strikes, Caddy doesn’t back down from a fight! Fortunately, Emma and Elliot, a pair of eager explorers, are there to lend Caddy a helping hand.

There are many stories in Maori culture that talk about Te Hokioi, the giant eagle. These stories were thought to be true only in mythology until large bones were found that proved the giant eagle was real after all. Does it still exist today?
Discovery
App
The discovery app is an augmented reality application that allows youth to take part in chasing mysterious creatures both at home or at school. One the target downloaded on the website for free, parents and teachers can print them and hide them for the hunt to begin!
